💗

Andrea and Michael.....Lake Zurich High School Prom 2017.
It rained most of the day...but someone did something right, because it stopped in time for pictures and for the rest of the evening.   Andrea was so beautiful...I loved her dress...and how happy she and Michael looked together. I hope they had a wonderful time!

Sweet Stitches Sampler

The April "Sweet Stitches" Sampler....shades of taupe with accents of pink, turquoise, blue, yellow and green. The Sampler units are....a silver Thimble and Scissors; a nine patch Quilt Block; a Pincushion with Pins; a clear Button Jar with Buttons; a Sewing Machine for the center unit; a Cross Stitch Hoop with Embroidery Floss and a Needle; a "Made With Love" Label & a Spool of Thread; a Fan Quilt Block and a Dressmaker's Mannequin.
I should have photographed the Sampler instead of scanning it....the silver pieces would have come out silver and not black...but you can still see and enjoy the tiny details on each unit.
